Background Cardiac tumours are typically secondary in nature and are found 20-fold often than primary cardiac neoplasms. Metastatic cardiac tumors are mainly diagnosed postmortem, but are rarely found before death; therefore, case reports are uncommon. Cardiac metastases of mucosal head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (SCCa) occur more seldomly and carry a poor prognosis.
