Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) is a hastily emerging area with enormous promise across many industries. This paper compares with the double sided LCL (DS-LCL) and a special compensation of L2CL-LCL compensation system in WPT by using MATLAB simulation. This paper also explains how the efficiency is improved in the L2CL-LCL system compared with DS-LCL. L2CL-LCL system can easily achieve Zero Current Switching (ZCS) and Zero Power Angle (ZPA). It can simultaneously reduce inverter current stress and compensate for reactive power. In a conventional DS-LCL configuration, the recorded output power is <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$182.4W$</tex> , while the input power registers at 200.1 W. In both cases, the power dissipated in the driving circuit is assumed to be 2.1 W. The end-to-end efficacy of the DS-LCL model is calculated to be 90.10%. For the L2CL-LCL system, input and output power are calculated to be 224.2 and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$211.05W$</tex> , respectively. Through the reduction of switching losses, the overall efficacy of the L2CL- LCL system can be raised to 93.2%. In the DS-LCL and L2CL-LCL systems, on-and-off switching losses are also computed.
