A literary review was done for the aetiology of ASD and ADHD and their comorbidities. A survey, consisting of 54 questions was used to estimate the percentage of non-diagnosed ASD and/or ADHD students. The survey was filled out by 186 students. The scoring was determined by using a percentage system where every question was ranked by the student on a scale of 1 through 10 of which the total was divided by the maximum number of points. Interviews with a child psychologist specialising in ASD and ADHD were used for proposing adjustments together with experience from neurodivergent individuals.A survey was conducted among 186 Dutch secondary school students aged 12-18 years old to determine the number of people who showed symptoms of ASD and/or ADHD and to show the most frequently occurring symptoms.Of 186 students 59 possibly had ASD, of which only 7 were diagnosed, and 83 possibly had ADHD, of which only 17 were diagnosed. Apart from this 49 people showed auDHD symptoms of which only 3 had the diagnosis. Using the results from the people with a diagnosis it was determined that anyone above +/- 55% had a chance of having the disorder. The 55% was derived from the results from the diagnosed students.ASD and ADHD are often not diagnosed and show a large variety of symptoms and comorbidities. These symptoms often cause difficulties in school and society. It is recommended that schools provide their neurodivergent students with reasonable adjustments to accommodate them to increase their quality of life and education.
