The Concepts of "Doctrine" and "Urban Development Doctrine" in the Legal System of Urban Development Activities

The article discusses the concepts of the terms “doctrine” and “urban planning doctrine”, their legal role in the system of urban planning legislation. The features of urban planning doctrine resulting from different approaches to the definition of the concept of “doctrine” are shown. The properties of state doctrines as a source of law and their possibilities in solving problems of management and development of complex settlement systems and agglomerations are given.
