In today's world, assistive robots are being incorporated into our daily lives more and more. Autonomous movement of robot is not feasible using GPS technology inside an infrastructure. Hence there is a need for a robot, which navigates autonomously to the desired locations in response to user's commands. This proposed assistive robot is made to carry things autonomously to desired locations given as voice inputs, by following a predefined path and autonomously returns back to the initial position. Hence this robot can be effectively used in industries to autonomously carry heavy objects without any user intervention. This robot is also capable of detecting obstacles in the path if any to avoid collisions. The live movement of this robot can be remotely monitored using the live camera equipped within the robot. This robot can also be controlled manually through an IOT web portal if required. This robot is solar powered to minimize the cost of power consumed making it environment friendly.
