The Frequency Selective Surface is proposed in this paper in order to achieve enhanced band-pass and band-rejection characteristics. The Rasorber is designed from a Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) and it has filtering characteristics along with varioustransmission mechanisms. The FSS has a band rejection with low insertion loss between the two absorption bands. The resonant frequency stability in a band rejection filter over varying incident angles and polarizations is analyzed. The proposed Frequency Selective Rasorber (FSR) design shows that the modified square loop with a square patch placed on the upper layer of the FR4 substrate is integrated. The simulated results show that the single-layered FSS has a return loss of -21.66 dB, acting as band-rejection characteristics at 25.49 GHz. The bandwidth of the FSS is 180 MHz at 25.49 GHz operating frequency. The fabricated Jerusalem Cross FSR will beapplied to the 5G New Radio communication system due to increased bandwidth.
