Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology, utilizing visible light communication through light-emitting diodes, offers a unique solution for high-speed data transfer in sensitive environments such as hospitals. This project aims to enhance patient monitoring by employing Li-Fi to collect vital information from various sensors, ensuring swift and secure transmission through a short-range wireless network. In contrast to traditional Wi-Fi, Li-Fi eliminates harmful electromagnetic radiation, providing a safer environment for both patients and medical instruments. This system integrates Li-Fi with a Wi-Fi module to enable realtime updates of health parameters from sensors like the Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) accelerometer and temperature sensor. This information is easily accessible to healthcare professionals, offering a comprehensive understanding of the patient's condition. Acknowledging the challenges of continuous manual monitoring, our system ensures that patient data is available to healthcare professionals in realtime, regardless of their physical location. The Li-Fi technology, paired with a Wi-Fi module, facilitates secure data transmission to any internet-connected device accessible by medical practitioners. Additionally, the system incorporates a cloud-based platform, 'ubidots,' to efficiently store and manage patient data. This cloud-based storage solution ensures data integrity and provides seamless access to historical patient information during consultations. By leveraging Li-Fi technology, this patient monitoring system represents a significant advancement in healthcare, delivering a secure and realtime approach to managing patient data for informed medical decision-making
