Foshan's Shiwan pottery, known for its unique "Shiwan figurines" with exquisite sculpting and glazing, faces challenges in passing these complex crafts to younger generations. This study applies the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) theory to explore how interactive technologies and immersive environments can captivate the interest of Generation Z by designing a learning system with gesture recognition, ray tracing, and rasterization rendering techniques. It identifies key dimensions for attracting youth to traditional pottery and constructs a new model that links appeal to recommendation attitudes.
