Hemolytic anemia is related to RBC's abnormalities and include sickle cell anemia, elliptocytosis and schizocytosis. In West Africa, the majority of hematology laboratories use manual methods to carry out blood cell classification. The integration of AI reduces blood slide analysis times, errors and helps doctors to make fast decisions. A CNN model is used to classify RBCs and detect diseases in the CNHU-HKM hematology laboratory at 100% in training, 86% and 82% in validation for 16 × 16 and 32 × 32 images.
