This article is devoted to simulation modeling and research of electromagnetic processes in special balun transformers (electromagnetic phase number converters) used to power induction-resistive heating systems, as well as calculation of their electrical and energy characteristics. The work compares modern power supplies for an induction-resistive heating system for industrial pipelines. A circuit of an electromagnetic phase number converter based on a Scott transformer circuit for powering a single-phase load is proposed. A mathematical model of the proposed balun transformer was obtained, implemented as a simulation model in the MATLAB/Simulink package, and its characteristics were calculated.
