Regular maintenance of the submerged hull section is crucial for vessels, especially naval ships, as it directly impacts their combat capability. However, the current naval fleet faces challenges in establishing efficient maintenance plans due to a shortage of Drydocks, unpredictable changes in ships schedules, and the diverse maintenance procedures required for different types of ships. Previous works on this topic have limitations in analyzing dynamic decision-making situations caused by the aforementioned complexities. Meanwhiley, Arthur (1994) developed an agent-based model to predict customer numbers at a restaurant near a research laboratory (El Farol), which bears similarity to the naval fleet maintenance problem where competing agents make strategic decisions based on limited resources. This study aims to apply the El Farol Bar model to naval Drydock operations, with the objective of exploring effective strategies to avoid exceeding naval ship
