In this paper, a millimeter wide-band patch array antenna with parallel connected series-fed network is proposed. Firstly, based on the parallel feed, two 1×2 microstrip array antennas with the working center frequency of 61 and 63 GHz were designed, with a bandwidth of 1.01% and 1.11 %, respectively. Then in order to expand the working bandwidth of the proposed array antenna, the two array antennas were combined. Meanwhile, a hybrid mode of series and parallel feeding was adopted to design a 2×2 patch array antenna to save space of the feed network and facilitate adjustment of the array antenna. Ultimately, the proposed antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 60.3-64 GHz (5.95 %), with a total gain of up to 11.3 dBi within the array antenna's working band.
