Ge with > 200 ns carrier lifetime and 3.7% uniaxial tensile strain on glass

In this work, Ge thin films on glass were successfully prepared from bulk Ge with an anodic bonding and thinning process. A Ge microbridge with very high crystal quality on glass was demonstrated with a uniaxial tensile strain of 3.7%, promising for light-emitting applications.
