Metasurfaces have immense potential in controlling the propagation of light, making them ideal for use in holographic beam-shaping elements. Metasurfaces can be used to achieve cross-multiplexing between wavelengths, polarization states, spatial positions, and nonlinear frequencies using holographic multiplexing. The Jones matrix is an invaluable tool for dealing with polarization issues, representing the polarization control capability using the number of degrees of freedom (DOF) it manipulates. However, the degree of freedom of the Jones matrix of two-dimensional hypersurfaces has an upper limit (n<=3). This research paper introduces the concept of engineering noise into the exact solution of the Jones matrix elements, thereby breaking the fundamental limitation of metasurface polarization multiplexing capabilities stemming from the Jones matrix dimensionality constraints. This breakthrough provides new ideas for high-capacity electromagnetic imaging, information encryption, and data storage.
