Despite the increasing dispersion of robotic approaches to RNU (RRNU) in recent years, no specific training curriculum is currently available to assist trainees through the learning process. The objective of this study is to define a structured training curriculum for RRNU through assessment among a group of experts in this field. METHODS: A survey on RRNU training programs was prepared based on the available evidence. The RRNU procedure was divided into eleven steps. The online inquiry was distributed through survey questionnaire to 30 experts in the field of UTUC surgical management based on their academic interest, research focus, including peer-reviewed publications, and surgical expertise embracing training courses. The modified Delphi methodology was applied, considering agreement among responders as ≥80%. RESULTS: Two rounds of the Delphi process were conducted to achieve consensus on the statements. The response rate for the first and second rounds was 80% (24/30) and 91.7% (22/24), respectively. Based on the results of the first round, the panel categorized the critical steps of RRNU into five modules, considering the complexity of each step and the minimum number of steps required for trainees to progress to the next level. Table 1 presents the essential statements obtained from the two rounds, delineating a well-structured training curriculum for RRNU. The curriculum's structure is illustrated in Figure 1. All statements, except the minimum annual RRNU volume and evaluation of a trainee's index video for modules I to V, reached a consensus level among participants (≥ 80%). CONCLUSIONS: This study presents a well-defined training curriculum for RRNU, designed to support trainees in their learning journey. Next step includes implementation and evaluation of this curriculum in clinical training programs.
