The article discusses the main stages, trends and features of the development of the legislative system of the Kyrgyz Republic. The fundamental works of scientists on the problems of transitional law are analyzed. The influence of the norms of Kyrgyz customary law on the modern system of legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic is studied.
