In this essay, the author offers his understanding of the concept of philosophical generation, identifies some generation criteria (genetic, communicative and independence criteria), and considers the problem of the “first generation” in the scientific community. The concept of a philosophical generation defended by the author can be characterized as weak. Next, the author offers the reader some thoughts about his own generation.
