This paper presents different applications of DInSAR and MT-InSAR for assessing ground deformation in Algeria. Case studies across the country using Sentinel-1 SAR data are shown for measuring surface deformation related to seismic events, analyzing infrastructure health monitoring, urban subsidence, and sinkhole hazards. Results include coseismic displacement maps for the 2016 Zeribet El Oued and 2020 Mila earthquakes. Time series analysis is applied to monitor displacements at the Kramis dam and to quantify subsidence rates in the OKN32 crater. Mean velocity maps generated from Envisat and Sentinel-1 highlight subsidence patterns in Oran city. This work demonstrates the value of SAR interferometry for mapping and monitoring different types of ground instability phenomena in Algeria.
