In this paper, we employed the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) goodness-of-fit (Gof) algorithm and the Anderson-Darling (AD) Gof algorithm to evaluate the field distribution characteristics of the metasurfaced reverberation chamber (RC). Compared to prolonged and cumbersome procedures outlined in the standard IEC-61000-4-21, this paper proposes an engineering friendly, simpler, and faster evaluation method for metasurfaced RC. The evaluation results indicate that AD-Gof has minimal requirements for measurement quantity, and KS-Gof can closely approximate the lowest usable frequency (LUF) and field distribution characteristics obtained by the IEC standard when there is a sufficiently large number of independent samples. These findings not only help estimate the response of the tested equipment in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing but quantify uncertainties in the test results.
