This study uses the generalized Lorentz-Mie theory to investigate the interaction between Bessel-Gaussian beams and aerosol particles, focusing on the effects of polarization, beam waist radius, and incident angle on the efficiency factor. The results show that the zero-order vector Bessel-Gaussian beam with radial polarization has the lowest extinction efficiency factor and better transmission characteristics.
