This paper proposes a novel, miniaturized implantable antenna design tailored for biomedical applications. The antenna is designed to operate in dual frequency bands, specifically the Medical Implanted Communication Service (MICS) (402–405 MHz) and the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) (902–928 MHz). The compact size of the proposed antenna is 127 mm 3 (10 mm × 10 mm × 1.27 mm). The dual-band functionality is achieved through the integration of a shorting pin, a meandered resonator design, and the use of a superstrate. Performance evaluation indicates acceptable peak gains values, reaching -38.7 dBi at the lower band and -34.49 dBi in the higher band. Moreover, the performance of the antenna is verified by experiments using saline solution. The results demonstrate a substantial degree of correlation and consistency between the measurements and simulations.
