A design method for a three-port filtering power divider with unequal power dividing ratio is presented in this conference. We can explain the working principle of arbitrary power distribution originating from the electric field distribution of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">TM₀₁</tex> mode in a square patch cavity. Moreover, two stacked-coupled square patches is used to integrate second-order bandpass response into the design. Finally, in order to verify, we design a 2nd-order filtering power divider with the ratio of 10:1. The results indicate that in terms of unequal power distribution, filter response, as well as isolation performance the unequal filtering power divider has good performances.
