This work introduces a high-gain circularly polarized (CP) magneto electric dipole (ME-dipole) element featuring an SIW feed network and all-metal radiating component. The present element composed of two types of metal columns, a metal elliptical cavity, and a cross feeding slot. The CP wave is generated by the cross slot feeding scheme and the surrounding air-filled cavity. Simulation results demonstrate that the antenna element achieves 21.9% (36.4-45.1 GHz) -10dB impedance bandwidth. It also achieves 12.2% (36-40.7 GHz) 3-dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth, and a peak RHCP gain of 9.64 dBic. The front-to-back ratios in the band are all more than 19 dB, and the average value reaches 26 dB. This is a good array element for mmWave CP high-gain antenna arrays.
