An angular stable frequency selective surface (FSS) with ultra-wide passband and stopband is proposed in this article. A second-order bandpass FSS is designed and then analyzed by an equivalent circuit model (ECM) to achieve an ultra-wideband performance. The simulated results show that the passband of this structure is 17.29-27.12GHz (relative bandwidth 44%), covering the whole K band. While it achieves a -20dB stopband in 29.73-66.68GHz (relative bandwidth 76.7%), covering the entire Ka and U band. Meanwhile, the design performs stable under oblique incidence angles reach to 60°.
