With the goal of using renewable energy for extended flight duration and less environmental effect, this project investigates the design and development of a solar-powered quadcopter drone. Since the drone's frame is equipped with lightweight solar panels, the onboard batteries may be continuously charged while in flight, increasing overall sustainability and operational duration. To optimize energy efficiency, the research takes into account aerodynamic factors, power management systems, and solar panel location. By merging the benefits of solar energy with the adaptability of quadcopter technology, the solar-powered quadcopter drone offers a viable solution for a range of applications, including monitoring, surveillance, and environmental data collecting. By advancing environmentally friendly drone technology, this creative method opens the door to more effective and sustainable airborne platforms.
