This paper proposes a simple intelligence algorithm method of induction motors (IMs) with improved dynamic response and regulate floating DC link converter that is operated floating capacitors in charging and discharging modes by using an Artificial Bee Colony Optimization (ABC) algorithm. Regretfully the traditional methods of predictive torque control (PTC) direct torque control (DTC) and model predictive control (MPC) produce a high torque ripple in the steady state and slow dynamics in the transient state due to their floating capacitance voltage amplitude of converter. For voltage sag compensation the conventional three-phase H-bridge converter can generate high-frequency harmonics in the converters. When switching it can result in electromagnetic interference (EMI). Filters and other EMI mitigation methods could be essential to meet regulatory requirements. In this paper a three-leg two-level IGBT with floating capacitor is presented. The proposed converter topology with ABC algorithm avoids this problem and the additional requirement of energy storage gadgets, transformers and power filters to mitigate the unbalanced voltage sags. Simulation/Matlab results validate the proposed method's superior steadystate performance as well as rapid dynamic response.
