The study introduces a wideband Honeycomb fractal antenna featuring a coplanar waveguide (CPW) integrated ground, catering to various wireless applications. Incorporating a third-order Honeycomb fractal structure enables compact dimensions and wide-band resonances in the prototype. Constructed with dimensions of 52 x 66 x 1.6 mm³, the antenna utilizes FR-4 dielectric material sandwiched between the Honeycomb radiator and the CPW integrated ground. CPW generators in honeycomb fractal antennas are used to feed or excite the antenna structure. They generate the coplanar waveguide configuration necessary for the transmission of electromagnetic signals within the antenna structure, enabling the efficient radiation and reception of signals. The proposed design of the fractal printed monopole antenna exhibits resonances spanning from 3.94 GHz to 5.21 GHz, coupled with an average gain of 3.61 dB. Fabricated prototypes demonstrate strong alignment during testing and measurement processes conducted using a Microwave analyzer. The antenna effectively resonates within the 5G band and finds application in satellite communication, smart homes and RADAR systems.
