Reconfiguration benefits optimal power flow (OPF) tasks in active distribution networks (ADNs) but faces challenges in large-scale systems. Therefore, several studies formulate the corresponding switch operating priority for reconfiguration simplification. Motivated by these research, this paper proposes an approach to evaluate switch importance for feeder grouping and simplification of the large-scale OPF issue. This approach first generates numerous load and renewable energy data samples. Subsequently, the reconfiguration OPF issues of these samples are solve by GUROBI and be utilized for calculating switch importance metrics. These metrics can lead to cost-effective feeder grouping to decompose large-scale OPF tasks. Simulations on the IEEE 297-node distribution network verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
