Given the scarcity of land resources, it is unavoidable to have transmission lines and oil and gas pipelines arranged in close proximity. In such cases, the electromagnetic effects of transmission lines on adjacent buried oil and gas pipelines become significant. In this paper, CDEGS is used to establish simulation models of transmission lines and adjacent buried oil and gas pipelines, and the influence of line height is studied, pipeline radius, coating thickness, coating unit area resistance, soil resistivity and other factors on the coating withstand voltage during normal operation of transmission lines, and compare the protective effects of three protective measures (adding bare zinc strip, adding grounding grid, adding insulating flanges). The simulation results indicate that the height of the transmission line and the unit area resistance of the coating have a significant impact on the maximum withstand voltage of the coating, while the pipe radius, coating thickness, and soil resistivity have minimal influence on the maximum withstand voltage of the coating. The three protective measures can alleviate the AC corrosion degree of the pipeline, and the three protective measures should be considered comprehensively in the actual project.
