The park-level integrated energy system (PIES) highly promotes the penetration of renewable energy sources (RES) through multi-energy coupling and conversion. To reach a high RES penetration level, a PIES planning method considering both economic cost and RES penetration is necessary. However, the previous research didn't consider the growing process of RES penetration level, which can lead to an excessive cost for the high equipment price of RES in the earlier stage of planning. Thus, this paper proposes a multi-objective and multi-stage stochastic planning method for the PIES considering the growing penetration of RES. First, the framework of the PIES multi-stage planning is established, including settings and implementation process. Then, a multi-objective stochastic planning model for the PIES is constructed with objectives of minimizing full life cycle cost and maximizing annual RES generation in each stage. On this basis, the pareto solution set is obtained by ε-constraint method and the compromise plan is selected by the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Finally, a typical electric-heat-gas coupled PIES is conducted to verify the effectiveness of this study. Simulation results show that the proposed method reaches a higher RES penetration level than the traditional method at the later stage of planning with the same cost.
