The widespread, disordered access of electric vehicles can significantly impact the three-phase balance of the distribution network, thereby posing challenges to the network's safe and stable operation. This paper introduces an electric vehicle phase selection strategy that takes into account the three-phase balance of the distribution network, aiming to minimize three-phase voltage imbalance, and utilize an upgraded multi-objective genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) to determine the number of EVs accessed per phase. By regulating the grid-connected phase selection of electric vehicles, this technique helps to alleviate the distribution network's three-phase voltage imbalance problem. The findings show that, particularly in situations where there is extensive EV access, the suggested EV phase selection technique efficiently improves the distribution network's three-phase voltage imbalance, maintaining the distribution network's stable and secure condition.
