The article draws attention to the fact that the legal status of a member of a self-regulating organization is built on the basis of membership in the association, but at the same time it is supplemented and/or modified in connection with the special functionality of the status of a self-regulating organization, which primarily affects the list of responsibilities of members of these organizations, which are an instrument for ensuring the status of the self-regulating organization itself. It is proved that a sufficiently broad and unlimited measure of dispositivity in determining the corporate rights and obligations of members of self-regulating organizations does not have the best effect on the issues of protecting the interests of the members themselves and their exercise of corporate rights. The author also tracks the trend of involving self-regulation mechanisms in blogging activities.
