Relevance. Rapid technological and social changes necessitate significant improvements in the primary education system in the Republic of Kazakhstan to meet modern educational needs. Purpose. This study aims to identify effective strategies for enhancing primary education in Kazakhstan through a comprehensive methodology involving surveys, systematic approaches, comparison, classification, analysis, synthesis, and deduction. Methodology. The study employed a combination of surveys, systematic approaches, comparison, classification, analysis, synthesis, and deduction to investigate and evaluate the primary education system in Kazakhstan. Results. The study delineated fundamental components of primary education didactics and critically reviewed classical and modern didactic theories. A thorough analysis of Kazakhstan's primary education system revealed its strengths, such as a diverse curriculum and cultural emphasis, alongside weaknesses such as rigid standardization and inadequate focus on fostering critical thinking skills. Conclusions. The findings underscore the pressing need for integrating interactive teaching methods, leveraging information-communication technologies (ICT), adopting a flexible and differentiated approach, and prioritizing the development of critical thinking skills to effectively address current educational challenges.
