The purpose of this study is to describe and analyse the level of readiness of the MSME supply chain from upstream to downstream to export. The methods used in this research are participatory (PRA) and sociological juridical approaches.Data collection was carried out either through questionnaires or interviews.Questionnaires were carried out to 76 MSME actors, interviews were conducted with the leaders of the association, several MSMEs, and export-related sources. This mixed methods study assessed the export readiness of 52 MSMEs in Indonesia through a survey and interviews.Quantitative results revealed low levels of product, legal, and supply chain preparedness for exporting.Qualitative findings highlighted the need for continued training and support from government, universities, and other stakeholders to assist MSMEs with fulfilling export requirements and managing sustainable supply chains. The study concludes that a collaborative effort is necessary to address gaps in product standardization, documentation, and supply chain linkage to improve MSME export capabilities.
