The article presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of agricultural landscapes for agricultural land use purposes. The authors of the article show possible ways of organizing rational land use based on an assessment of the ecological and economic condition of the lands of settlements in the Romodanovsky municipal district of the Republic of Mordovia.
