India, with its dense population, witnessed a notable surge in motorcycle sales in 2022, driven by factors including the recent pandemic and a growing preference for individual travel over public transportation. This surge exacerbated traffic on Indian roads, resulting in a sharp increase in accidents, with motorcycles being implicated in 42% of cases according to a 2019 report. Negligent behaviors such as lack of helmet usage, drunk driving, and speeding contribute significantly to these accidents, prompting the need for a comprehensive safety system to ensure biker safety. Our proposed system aims to enforce helmet usage, conduct alcohol screening, provide speed and reckless driving alerts, and facilitate prompt medical assistance in case of accidents.
