Model modifies joint output frameworks to improve forest multiple use alternatives, suggesting better resource management.
Proposed is a method for considering forest multiple use alternatives within the framework of the joint output models of traditional economic theory. The model presented by Gregory ( Forest Science 1:6-13, 1955) is modified to accept empirical data, and quantitative trails are analyzed in a two product case. A four product matrix is considered for reviewing more complex multiple relationships.
