Background and aim Lipohypertrophy is a common complication that can arise in people with diabetes (PWD) receiving insulin therapy. Despite its high prevalence and potential impact on diabetes management, there remains a lack of consensus regarding how much lipohypertrophy affects glycemic control and insulin dosing in PWDs. Our study aimed to assess the potential associations between lipohypertrophy and glycemic control, as well as insulin dosing in PWD.
