Conducting an in-depth study on the risks of Japanese real estate from a financial perspective is of great significance for fully grasping the characteristics of market risks and their developmental laws, as well as formulating effective risk management strategies and policy measures. From 1980 to 1992, around the burst of the Japanese real estate bubble, the Japanese government introduced a series of financial policies and measures aimed at resolving the real estate bubble and mitigating its impact on the macroeconomy. This paper meticulously examines the formation mechanism and the bursting impact of the Japanese real estate bubble from a financial perspective, and deeply analyzes the measures taken by Japan in resolving real estate risks and transforming the sector, in hopes of drawing lessons and insights from Japan's experience in dealing with real estate risks and transformation.
