Scientific Heritage of E.P. Kostina in the Field of Preschool Music Pedagogy

The article is devoted to the scientific heritage of Eleonora Pavlovna Kostina — the ScD degree holder in the specialty 13.00.02 Theory and methodology of teaching and education (music), a leading specialist and expert in the field of preschool education and preschool music pedagogy, professor at the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Education Development. The relevance of the article is due to the fact that the numerous publications and two dissertations of E.P. Kostina, who passed away in 2018, contain conceptual ideas and scientific and methodological materials, consonant with modern needs and new challenges in the development of preschool music education, have great potential in promoting the implementation of the new Federal Educational Program of preschool education, as well as in improving the training and professional development of preschool teachers and music educators. Special attention in the article is paid to the analysis of the creative pedagogical technology of preschool music education developed by E.P. Kostina, which was theoretically and experimentally substantiated in her doctoral dissertation
