Anti-Criminal Policy of the State and Economic Indicators of Its Effectiveness

The economic indicators of the anti-criminal policy being developed are considered. Anti-criminal policy is aimed at achieving an acceptable level of anti-criminal security, which is defined as the protection of society and the state from criminal manifestations. The areas of application of anti-criminal policy are considered. The main ones are socio-political, economic, cultural, informational and other public relations. The corresponding types of anti-criminal security are highlighted. Attention is drawn to the need to improve legislation regulating these spheres of society’s life. The threats to anti-criminal security acting on the part of criminal communities, especially organized according to the hierarchical principle and led by the status leaders of the criminal hierarchy, are noted. In the aspect of globalization, the issue of interstate anti-criminal security is touched upon. The thesis on the trends of monocentricity in the transformation of international crime is substantiated. The support of international crime provided by some influential States has been revealed. In contrast, the position of domestic authors is given that the polycentric model of globalization corresponds to the realities of world and domestic anti-criminal policy. Legal science forms the principles of the state’s anticriminal policy on the condition of interstate anti-criminal cooperation. At the same time, domestic economic interests come to the fore in the field of anti-criminal security. The methodological basis of the anti-criminal policy includes the provisions of the National Security Strategy of the state. On its basis, the economic factors that constitute a threat to anti-criminal security are highlighted. The corresponding indicators of the effectiveness of anti-criminal policy in the field of economics have been determined. According to these indicators, the structure of the total social wealth, the state of the demographic potential of the country, the adaptability of the economic and political mechanism to the current crime rate are monitored. As a result, the selected indicators allow you to monitor the effectiveness of anti-criminal policy and optimize its implementation.
