In this regard, the need for therapeutic and prophylactic agents with immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects is increasing. Currently, the use of natural antioxidants as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent is becoming relevant. The article discusses the properties of natural astaxanthin as one of the most powerful natural antioxidants.
