This report contains the results of Australia’s first known comprehensive survey on daylight saving perspectives. Survey data indicate overwhelming support for daylight saving nationwide (80%). This is true across all demographic and socio-economic groups, including by age, sex, occupation, state, income, household status, employment status and political affiliation. Nationwide results are presented in detail, followed by results from Western Australia and Queensland--the two Australian states where daylight saving is not currently observed.
