Enhancing DC grid infrastructure has the potential to bolster system dependability. However, since the DC voltage within these networks originates from the AC segment of the energy source, it is crucial to examine the hazards that malfunctions in the AC system might induce. This study constructs a system model utilizing the well-known "double-petal ±10kV DC distribution system" as a foundation, simulated through the Matlab/Simulink environment. Within the scope of this study, which utilizes the commonly referenced "double-petal ±10kV DC distribution system" as a foundation, the system's framework has been developed on the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment. This is reflective of conventional simulation construction methods. The primary focus is on the repercussions experienced on the AC segment as a result of the DC system's single-pole ground fault. This examination is concurrently integrated with analytical assessments. Concentrating on the technique where the midpoints of all converter capacitors are connected to ground through resistors, the constant operational attributes regarding DC power and voltage within this DC distribution network are deduced. so as to check the correctness of the system modelling and lay a good foundation for further research.
