In order to eliminate the circulation of auxiliary commutation circuit of auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter and reduce the circulation loss, a load adaptive control method is proposed in this paper. The method automatically adjusts the switching time of the auxiliary switches according to the load current and eliminates the circulation of the auxiliary commutation circuit and it is beneficial to improve the efficiency of inverter. The key modes of the inverter under the proposed control method and the original control method are compared, the advantages of the proposed load adaptive control method are highlighted, and the operation principle of the inverter under the proposed control method and the conditions for realizing the soft-switching are analyzed, and the parameter design method is presented. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified by simulation.
