This study proposes an intelligent substation secondary circuit fault localization method based on AGA-PSO algorithm to solve the problem of low accuracy in intelligent substation secondary circuit fault localization. By constructing node state codes after secondary circuit faults and establishing an anomaly localization model suitable for the secondary circuit of intelligent substations, the equivalent fault vector of the fault link is obtained. This method takes the total number of secondary circuits in the intelligent station as the population dimension of the particle swarm algorithm, and establishes a fiber optic anomaly localization model based on the mapping relationship between nodes and links. By introducing AGA algorithm to improve the convergence speed of PSO algorithm and achieve precise positioning of secondary circuit faults in intelligent substations. The final experimental results indicate that this method achieves precise fault localization of the substation communication link. It provides strong support for the reliability and stability of the power system.
