Fibromyalgia is a chronic, painful musculoskeletal illness with an unknown cause. This common disease is characterized by rheumatic, autoimmune, and psychiatric complications. The current study gives an in-depth look at the clinical biochemistry of fibromyalgia, namely the altered expression of transcription factors for various cytokines released by the cellular immune system throughout the inflammatory process of fibromyalgia. In 50 patients, we examined numerous oxidative stress indicators implicated in aggravating the physiology & symptoms of fibromyalgia.IL-1,2,4,6,813,17, F(2)-Isoprostanes, 4-HNE, 8OHdG, TNF-, and MDA levels, as well as antioxidants GSH, SOD, and CAT, were examined in serum samples from 50 fibromyalgia patients and compared to those of 50 healthy controls.Patients with fibromyalgia had higher levels of all of the above indicators and lower levels of all antioxidants.Targeting the aforementioned bioactive characteristics, which represent a good treatment option for fibromyalgia in future years, can result in improved pain management and significantly reduced musculoskeletal pain.
