Nanomedicine has evolved to explore multifunctional nanoplatforms aiming for early cancer detection and precise treatment. Cancer treatment is magnificent, non-invasive, and targeted therapeutic strategies. Integrating sonosensitizers like Chlorin e6 (Ce6) with Melanin and polydopamine (PDA) nanoparticles as a polymeric nanocarrier presents an opportunity to create a multifaceted approach that combines inherent characteristics of these components to enhance cancer therapy. This study aims to explore and demonstrate the potential of a novel combination of Ce6 with Polydopamine nanoparticles co-encapsulated in a polymeric nanocarrier specifically tailored for cancer therapy and photoacoustic applications. The primary objective is to investigate how this combined system utilizes the unique properties of Ce6 while improving the biocompatibility, stability, and targeting abilities offered by Melanin-Ce6-PDA nanoparticles. The study seeks to evaluate the increased uptake of Ce6 within these nanoparticles and its club with sonodynamic therapy (SDT) triggered by ultrasound, offering a non-invasive, precise, and controlled approach for localized skin cancer treatment.
