The results of the mathematical modeling of rural electrical networks using the phase coordinate method are presented. The disadvantages of the traditional modeling using this method are shown. The authors proposed new approach to using this method for calculating voltage deviations at various points of the electrical network and the calculation example using the proposed approach. Furthermore the comparison of the results obtained by different approaches was made.
