The article is devoted to the issue of comparing magnetic fields and output signals formed by spiral-shaped and cylindrical solenoids in the acoustic paths of magnetostrictive linear and angular displacement transducers. Studies related to the refinement and derivation of appropriate formulas and expressions have been carried out, computational experiments and experimental checks have been carried out. It was found that the amplitude value of the playback signal from a linear amplifier with a spiral coil is less than the playback signal of a cylindrical solenoid and in computational experiments amounted to 20-25%. The results of experimental studies have shown that the signal from the spiral coil is 20% less than the signal from the cylindrical solenoid. This decrease in the signal can be compensated by significantly reducing the inter-turn distance. The reliability of the theoretical results and computational experiments obtained in the article is confirmed by experimental studies. Since magnetostrictive sensors containing solenoids are used in many fields and fields, including robotics, the article has a practical focus and presents prospects for further research.
